The text concerns the history, organization and the tactics of the Sturmartillerie through a short history of every StuG unit of the Wehrmacht and Waffen SS, lists of the winners of the Ritterkreuz, the biographies of the Aces of the Sturmgeschütz, the technical characteristics of the German Assault Guns, their variants and support vehicles, and colour plates that illustrate the uniforms (including details photos of the black Sonderbekleidung with red Waffenfarbe and the 2nd Model Drillichschutzanzug), the tactical markings and 16 profiles of the AFVs of the Assault Guns units. 430 pages, 360 b/w photos, 8 colour plates, 10 scale drawings, 17x24 cm.
