Gebirgsjager - German Mountain Infantry by Gordon L Rottman

Does anyone have any comments on the this book in comparing it with Gordon Williamson's one - "Gebirgsjager: German Mountain Trooper 1939-45"

I understand that Williamson's book is full of errors.

Or am I better off with just the one book -:

Gebirgsjaeger: Germany's Mountain Troops by Ray Merriam

Thanks for any response with this.

Hi any of Roland Kaltenegger books. Merriam press book is a reprint of captured military manuals. Ok but quality could be better. Brian

Thank you Brian for your suggestion. I see most of Roland Kaltenegger books are in German..
I am currently tring to trace the movement of the 13th and 91st Gebirgs Infantry Regiments from April 20th - April 22nd 1945 to find out a bout the fighting around Hrabin and the Smolkov Fortress area. I am reseraching a fallen Gebirgs soldier who died there between these dates Recorded on his Death Card as the 20th April 1945 and his cemetery notes as 22nd April 1945. So I am trying to narrow things down the best I can regarding the fighting he was involved in and learning about his circumstances during the time.

Thanks once again for your kind reply.
