75 years ago today the First Special Service Force was liberating Grasse and the 509th Parachute Infantry Battalion was liberating Cannes.

Thanks Jean-Loup for the reminder. Your book looks superb - a nicely focused study of Operation Dragoon. I’ll have to pick up a copy.

The book Operation Dragoon has arrived, and it’s very impressive! Well worth purchasing if you like a detailed account of a specific area of action.

        Cheers,
        Michael

              Well done JL,

Good to refresh the background to the book again for anyone who was not familiar with the stories. A tour de force of a book and superb research from you.

              Best Wishes,
              Simon
