Anyone here read "Seven Days in January"?

I'm in the market for a new book to read and came across "Seven Days in January: With the 6th SS-Mountain Division in Operation NORDWIND" by Wolf T. Zoepf, and was wondering if it was a good read. Your thoughts, gents.

    Regards
    Samir

It's a campaign history, told from the perspective of the Nord Division, by an officer veteran. He wrote it in English, so it isn't a translation, and it makes use of German and American sources for a very balanced view. However, if you are looking for a personal account, you will find it quite dry.

Hi, and thanks for your input. Yes, I was looking for more of a personal account, but for the prices these books are going, why not? Thanks again.

The ending comments show what an officer and gentleman he was...
