Is there anyone still selling Autumn Gale in the U.S. at a decent price. I was going to buy a slightly damaged copy on ebay from Aberdeentp for 89 dollars, the next day the price is now 135, and 198 on amazon??? I'm afraid I'm too late...

The publisher still has copies for sale. Their price with postage is still cheaper then what you can find it for in the US right now.

Did you ask Tom at Aberdeen about simply buying a copy from him? He always charges more on ebay than he does from his actual store. It could be that he sold all the copies he was keeping for his store, and only has a few ebay ones left, but it would be worth sending him an email at the address on his website to check.

I'll email him. Tom has always been really great.

                a must have

I picked up my copy at Ciney last sunday and wow this is one heavy book!

A must have read about operations and actions before and around operation Market Garden you never knew that happened. This book will complete your view about the battles late 1944 in the north of Belgium and south of Holland.
I'm looking forward to future work of these gentlemen!

...and I found the perfect tea to drink with it while reading

                      autumn gale sold out

                      Hi,

There is still plenty of tea, but the book is almost sold out. On this moment (8/11) we have a thirty copies in stock. You can still order via the site. We dont know if there is going to be a reprint. ($$$$$$$).

                          autumn gale almost sold out

                          Hi,

only 800. btw, the stock is now down to 22. I m afraid we reach the complete sold out next week. We re still discussing a reprint but its a lot of money and what s more, its our money. The costs for another 600 are almost the same as the first print run.

                          best regards,
                          Maarten Swarts

Wait for a while and let the demand increase. Maybe also hold onto the last 20, and gradually auction them off, you might make enough to pay for the next print run

Agree with Marc: let demand increase and price rise
