There are indeed two out there and i have them both on the bookshelves.

As for which is the best, the Memoir 'My Logbook' shown above by Andy is by far the better book to buy. Autographed copies can still be picked up relatively cheaply too.

      Regards Richard.
Always looking for Luftwaffe Kampfflieger related document groups. In particular anything to Kampfgeschwader 2.

My copy, which I purchased from the publisher, is in English, and is autographed. I thought that all copies were autographed; apparently not.
It's an excellent book, and you get a real feel for Rall the husband and father, as well as the fighter pilot. Highly recommended.

My Logbook is excellent! One of the best pilot memoirs I ever read!

I agree, My Logbook is definitely far better than the terrible one by Jill Amadio. Yet, Rall's book simply pales in comparison with the best German fighter pilot memoir: memoirs of Helmut Lipfert.

However, I have noted that German pilot memoirs often lack the pilot's commentary on various aircraft he flew in compraison with British and US accounts. For example, I simply have not encountered any German pilot memoir comparable to those of Eric Brown, Corwin Meyer or Donald Lopez.

e-bay is your best bet I think.

I have seen copies go for around £40 in the last few months or so, of course some go for the price of a kidney however, if you shop around there are reasonably priced copies out there to be had.

                              Regards Richard.
