Hi Gang
Have been here before and received very useful information and assistance with regard to my documentary about the invasion of North Africa 1942-43.
As I continue with research and filming, another question comes up; I discovered an unidentified song on the internet supposedly written in tribute of Field Marshall Erwin Rommel. The song is well arranged, has a haunting theme and sung in German by an unidentified female vocalist.
You can download an MP3 copy I uploaded here;
http://www.ww2survivorstories.com/Er...6K22HzMono.mp3
(The file size is just under 1MB).
Would appreciate any help in identifying the source of this material. If authentic, I'm looking into the possibility of licensing it.
And please by all means, visit the web site here;

I've recently added new material, and an update on the progress of the many interviews I've obtained (including a recent trip to Dresden to interview surviving veterans of the Afrika-Korps.
Thank you
Michael Fraticelli
