    Question re: Kurtz Book

    On page 154 of Robert Kurtz's book "German Paratroops", in the lower right, there is a picture of a FJ Erkennungsmarke (from Chris Mason's collection). The MOB Nummer is 62897. If anyone knows what unit this signifies, can you please PM me?

    I am contemplating research on early FJ units and personalities with WASt and this particular Erkennungsmarke has a low Stammrollen number (82) that looks promising.
