What do you think Kelly's Heroes was. If not for Donald Sutherland and Don Rickles, it would not have been worth watching.

            Another Fan!

Kelly: Well Oddball, what do you think?
Oddball: It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.
Big Joe: Hey look, you just keep them Tigers busy and we'll take care of the rest.
Oddball: The only way I got to keep them Tigers busy is to LET THEM SHOOT HOLES IN ME!
Crapgame: Hey, Oddball, this is your hour of glory. And you're chickening out!
Oddball: To a New Yorker like you, a hero is some type of weird sandwich, not some nut who takes on three Tigers.
Kelly: Nobody's asking you to be a hero.
Oddball: No? Then YOU sit up in that turret baby.
Kelly: No, because you're gonna be up there, baby, and I'll be right outside showing you which way to go.
            Oddball: Yeah?
            Kelly: Yeah.
Oddball: Crazy... I mean like, so many positive waves... maybe we can't lose, you're on!

I think the two second shot of "Hitler" pounding on the table screaming "nein" pretty much says it all.

And the perfect use of background music that makes absolutely no sense. Who can forget the dialogue of Jackson and Travolta discussing eating a Royale with Cheese from Pulp Fiction? Of the dance scene from Resevoir Dogs when Madsen cuts the guys ear off? How about the woman with the machine gun for a leg in GrindHouse? The one Tarantino movie almost never mentioned is Four Rooms. It is one of his classics, but seems to be little known - even by some of his hardcore fans.

I thought the movie an okay movie, which one of you WAF members was the uniform consultant? They looked pretty damn good. I really like the GD parade tunic, not the white one,

I saw the now famous/infamous "Tarantino WW2 flick".....and NO, I did not pay the ticket a couple of friends invited me to see it.

No surprises here...it is a farse based in an historical time frame, like the disclaimer at the end of every movie....All the characters involved are ficticius, any similarity with real persons/events are purely coincidential and not intentional,etc,etc....or something similar!!

What this movie did for me was to make a recolection of very obscure and equaly insane plots, I remembered these "classics"

Hitler, dead or alive.....hey they kill the real hitler in this one, even shave his mustache to prove he was the "real" one and not a double. You just have to love the "wise guys commandos" who did this unkown daring mission.

Man on the Mirror, this one was quite strange, it was like hitler was in some sort purgatory reliving his political madness from rise to fall, his "guard" was a jew in the uniform of a concentration camp "auxiliary guard".....in fact I found this movie quite interesting.

They saved hitler brain.....oh please!!!! do I have to make a review....don't think so!!

The Dirty Dozen part 2.......what a piece of crap.....again, they could "have" kill hitler at the landing strip..but choose not, this time.

To be or Not to be(Mel brooks version).....I like this one....yea realy, is like watching the "third reich Star Trek" episode.

And I could go on and on, what the similarity with the Tarantino movie, all of these other movies, a way getting at hitler and his regimen and making them "pay" in some way for their crimes, even if is made in a funny or a combination of funny/bloody way, in other words, a compleat farse, who can forget the "memorable actual historical" movie, HItler the rise of evil.....ahhhh the cake spiting fuhrer or the trench dog abuser segment.....compared to this, Tarantino movie is a good thing!!!

I am not a fan of Tarantino movies or story lines....I had the TV on my work shop in a cable channel where they had the Deathproof/zombie thing flick double feature....it was sooooooooo bad I ended puting the NASA channel mission report program!!!!!!!!!

It's a shame, Mel Brooks never made Crazy History of the World part 2, I was diying to see his segment "hitler on ice" that would have been a classic!!!

Well have to go now, the cyber cafe minutes I am at are pilling up and I still have to look up in google the date 2012.......they say that movie is FOR REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....oh pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!

even though it is a QT flick, I was going to see it because it was WWII...until a read a reiev in People ( I think...) and they talked about scalping the Germans in graphic detail and the Germans being burned...in graphic detail. Decided I didn't need to see it after that...to see something campy, I might put in Kelly's Heroes.

I think Mel Brooks History of the World part II is in production right now.
