I wondered what book about german medals/awards that is the best? Any which is available on amazon.com?

Hard to tell Olav, every book has its pros and cons, many have misleading mistakes. I suggest that you use the search button (top right of this page) and search all forums with keywords such as "book". You will find many threads and disccussions about the contents of recent medal/award books.
