I just picked up Luftwaffe Fighter Ace by Norbert Hanning. I have yet to start it since I am still working on Guderian's Panzer Leader but from the few pages I read in the book store it seems like a good read, anyone had a chance to read this yet?

It is a very good book! To my eyes it is very much a soldier´s memoir without political propaganda but some politically correct re-educated Germans (the same people who consider that Berlin was never "free" until Red Army marched in) have complained that its original publisher dares to use such "brown words" like "Schickschalkampf" in the back cover... -
Just finished this book, took me under 2 days it was so good. I would recommend it to everyone. Very well written and it keeps you interested the whole time, I simply couldnt put it down.
