    I am searching for an expenditure of Stars and Strips

    Dear Forum!

    I am searching for along time for the father of my friend an edition of the Stars and Strips. I have got just the following informations:
    He received the magazin from august 1945 - to febuary 1946 and on the front of the magazin there is "Le havre is constant in German Hand" and there is along foodqueue and american soldiers are standing in there.

    That is everything the father of my friend told me

    But i hope you guys can help us. The father of my friend is now 90 years old and you know, not the youngest anymore!
    I would love it, if you would tell us where you can get this paper!

      Are you looking for a copy of the daily Stars & Stripes newspaper or the supplement that was issued once a week as an insert in the regualr paper?

          Hallo Siegbert!

          Probably you can ask directly to The Stars and Stripes museum.
          They can do research for you , the only problem is that they require a donation and fees for the research operations.
