opinions on uniforms and traditions of the kriegsmarine ?

By the high prices of them, are they a wise purchase ?

They are not perfect, but if are are a KM collector your are not going to find any other one with that complete information. The best, but not the only. About price on ebay sometimes you can find all of the (3 volumenes) not too expensive.

if you collect or have interest in the Kriegsmarine,a wise purchase IMO.As a collector of photographs as well as awards i constantly refer to the books for identification of rank and career insignia,etc.

I would agree with Eduardo - the set is probably the best you will find , but how do you compress a comprehensive study into three volumes , impossible but the authors gave it a good go.

They are not perfect and unfortunately neither is my knowledge of the Kgm . , they are weak in places - the optical section is a poor guide , descriptions are wrong and really no effort went into this particular section.

Would I sell them , no definately not - can I use them - yes .
Worth the money - I would have to say yes.
