I came across this today from some website bashing this movie. It hasn't even come out yet, and the "experts" say it's going to be a flop. That's okay with me. Less people in the theater when I go.

I think its probably going to be a flop from the point of view of making money. Its a pretty special interest type of movie. Making lots of money doesn't make it a good film. Look at titanic

I don't think you need to be an expert to think this is going to be a flop.
Its sort of stuck between a rock and a hard place. It certainly won't satisfy the hardcore WWII buffs and it won't make as much money as it should because the generally misinformed and prejudiced masses are already thinking this is a "Nazi" movie.
Plus Cruise's reputation after Lions for Lambs has gone from bad to worse. Especially with the typically conservative crowd that enjoys war movies.
So yes, all logic points to it being a flop.

I think it has a chance, especially as it has a big name director behind it.

Singer can make a very good film. Well, he made 'The Usual Suspects' so he is OK in my books.

It is interesting that all the actors seem to be born and bred English, apart from Mr Cruise, of course.

It does look good. Regardless of the fact that Cruise is playing a lead role, I will still see it. Those uniforms look goooooood.

Kenneth Branagh is in it, but I am going to see it anyway.

It is worth noting that Christopher McQuarrie has written the script and he also wrote 'The Usual Suspects' so I expect the script to be of a high quality. Yeah, you got it, I like 'The Usual Suspects'

Well i like the trailer.
We will see the film through different eyes than the vast majority of people because we know what happened, we know who the historical characters are (beyond AH that is) and of course we're very much familiar with the uniforms and regalia.
