I saw this movie last night and I have to give it two thumbs up. Great movie about the Harlem drug man Frank Lucas who bought heroin directly from southeast Asia and sold it in New Jersey.

Denzel does such a good job of portraying him that at times you might feel like you want him to stay out of jail, but the investigator on the other end of things is done by Russel Crowe, who also does a spectacular job.

I hate to tell you Hollywood believers the BAD NEWS but the Movie is total BS. Frank Lucas is based on the life and times of "Leroy Nicky Barnes" a small time Harlem punk who bought his Smack(H) from a Made Man named Michael Maddona. He bought 20 -30 k's a month and got rich breaking it down. His Wife was sleeping with other Men in front of his daughters and in the end he ratted out everyone. Even the Italians that made him rich and never ratted on him. I also talked to a Guy who was very close to a Guy who did time with Nicky Barnes and said he was a no good punk who pushed a broom and got no respect in the Joint. If you do not believe me go check it out at gangland.com. Jerry Capeci is an expert and you might notice that Nicky Barnes looks nothing like Denzel. Sorry to ruin your dream.
