Hey guys,
Just saw this one over the weekend and in spite of the fact the movie dragged on a bit longer than it should have, it does feature solid performances by Casey Affleck and Brad Pitt and is fairly informational in the process. The cinematography is another highlight of the film as there are creatively inserted "vignette" scenes which explain the plot as well as excellent views of the urban set and countryside (filmed in Canada no doubt).
The sound quality is fantastic if you have the opportunity to watch it in a "Cinema de Lux" type theater- the gun shots from the revolvers and rifles are incredibly crisp. All in all, if you have time to spare, I would highly advise paying the ticket for The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.

"Robert Ford, who's idolized Jesse James since childhood, tries hard to join the reforming gang of the Missouri outlaw, but gradually becomes resentful of the bandit leader."
