      Sa

Well , right now I found that--Bob Rodgers militaria site is offering two SA books: "STORM TROOPER: PICTORIAL HISTORY OF THE SA IN GERMANY 1932." I looked through this one in a library and found it to be right to the point. "THE SA: A HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE." I have always wanted this book as I heard it is good--but I just cant get every book in the world on TR stuff.

Neither of those books will really help you if you're looking for either an accurate history of the SA or information about the insignia, uniforms, and so on. The best books to date are the Angolia book 'Insignia of the NSDAP and SA', the 'Headgear' series by Saris, Spronk, and Halcomb volume III, the David Fuller book about SA Insignia, and the Littlejohn book 'Hitler's SA' (Osprey). The Headgear book and Littlejohn book are the most accurate, and are the only ones still in print.
A new book, or books, are currently in the works on the SA but it will likely be at least a couple of years before it or they are completed.
