Hello,
I just finished this book and I really enjoyed it. The book is actually the WWI war diary of a German artilleryman by the name of Herbert Sulzbach. This man was part Jewish and not only won the EK 2nd and 1st class in WWI. Sulzbach escaped to Britain in the 1930's and served in the British army in WWII. He ended his career in the British army with the rank of captain.
If anyone wants to read about certain theaters of WWI that are rarely discussed I would highly recommend this book.
Regards,
Jody
