This book is a new work of ccmax (WA Associated Member), intitled "Irmãos de Armas" in portuguese or "Brothers in Arms" in english.
With the prescription of the workmanship destined integrally to the Association of Ex-Combatants of Brazil, "Brothers in Arms" are a faithful story of the trajectory of one of the many squads of infantry that had formed the Brazilian Veterans in the Italy Campaign, between 1944 and 1945.
Congregating diverse documents rare of the personal quantity of the former-lieutenant Jose Gonçalves, as its daily one of campaign, personal correspondence, trench periodicals, maps, orders of combat, unknown photograph sets of ten and interviews with integrant of the squad, the book in them presents the history of the FEB from the point of view of the subordinate officers and squares, that had faced the part hardest of the war, in constant contact with the enemy in the positions of front.
"Brothers in Arms" are a workmanship of great historical value, therefore he shows the facts as they had occurred, with allegiance, in the vision of two authors who if complement, the former-lieutenant Jose Gonçalves, commander of the squad of riflemen in the campaign of the FEB in Italy, an officer competent, human and worried about its staff, and the historian Cesar Campiani Maximiniano, worried about the documentary side and the historical contribution of the narrative.
