    High-quality assembled airplane models?

    Hi guys,

I know exactly what my dad wants for his birthday present (he told me), but I am having a hard time finding them:

A high-quality, fully finished (ideally metal) model of a Spitfire MK9, and also a Focke Wulf 109.

Something to sit on his desk.

Can anyone steer me to a retailer who might sell these items? I've found plenty of model kits, and plenty of good RC planes, but I want neither of these.
    Best regards,
    Streptile

      Hi Bern,

      Thank you for your question.

Something in the neighborhood of a 12 - 24" wingspan would be ideal but I will look at any high-quality model.

Price is not really a big concern, only quality.
      Best regards,
      Streptile

Are you looking for an FW 190 or a Bf/Me 109? Your first post has me a little confused. A buddy of mine has a rather extensive collection of Luftwaffe and RAF die cast metal planes in different scales. I've sent him an inquiry as to which are the best in quality, in his opinion.

I can't add much to what Jacques has already told you, except that you're probably looking for scales of 1/32 or more if you want 12" plus wingspans.
                Regards
                Bern
