        Very nice work Mario.

Have you chosen one of the kit's colour schemes or something else?

Hi Mike, I have chosen an optional scheme with a separate dedicated decals sheet: Black with an edelweiss on the fuselage and 5 color lozenge on the wings.
          ciao!

Superb work and detail, love the wing cammo decal "canvas" detail printted on them. This one will be another beautiful model indeed.

Unfortunately, even at this scale, the fabric detail would be invisible and detracts from the model. IMO.

Absolutely true, agree on that. Personally I don't think it detracts from the model though ,looking at it on the flesh looks quite nice ,that pic is a closeup.
Actually even in the more realistic models, lots of things are a bit out of scale so shading , weathering, nuts, bolts, rivet, cables, wood grain would be barely visible or invisible in the ipothetic perfect scale model
I think Modelling in some scales is a lot of compromising between reality and how a model looks, so many details are enhanced
If the goal would be just to make a model in perfect scale,or let's say how it would look the real thing from a distance that it looks as big as the scale you're working on .....maybe models would be ,dull, flat and not so nice to look at.
That's my personal modeller point of view.
                              ciao Mario
