    Some little displays

I dont really display my 1/1 size uniforms and such, not enough room, but like to display the Dragon and some models. Some of the models are prebuilt, the dragon 1/35 and FOV 1/16, the tamiya 1//16 panther RC is still a work in progress.

The Ikea cases are good for Dragon and Armor.

Scott, what is the scale of the Flak 88 (3rd one from the right in gun metal blue) in the 1st picture?
        Thanks,
        Greg

Hello Greg, its 1/6, I think its the 3,8 cm flak? Not sure on calibre size, I'll have to check, I have the 1/6 Dragon Quad as well.

Thanks Scott, I'm trying to figure out the scale of 1 I just picked up & it's not 1/6, smaller.
            Thanks!

The gun on the left in the first pic is a Pak38 and fires 5.5cm rounds

Thanks, here is a closeup of the models, I know the prebuilts are a bit of "cheating", but having had bilateral cornea transplants, my eyes are not what they were at 18, however, I still try, and am trying to improve my weathering skills, which is a real artwork and Im always amazed by what some can accomplish. The tanks are DRagon 1/35 prebuilt, and the AFV's I did myself.

I'd also like to start with more customization of the Dragon and DID 1/6 figures, they are really wonderful in my opinion.

Curious why the figure on the left in this last pic has white piping on the collar but with yellow tabs

That is a DID figure, and I think its just what they used as officers piping, I know its not correct, but I'm not sure if any of the speciality makers have come out with really nice looking twisted piping for officers tunic.

They look very nice. But i think they could look even better with a grass or sand base. very easy to do and they make the models stand out more. or perhaps a backdrop.
