Our next study trip takes in the major KZ sites of Bavaria. As usual, we will start in Prague and head to our first point of interest, KL-Floßenbürg. Known for many years as the forgotten camp, Floßenbürg has thankfully seen some fantastic work in recent years and continues to remember those who suffered there in a fine manner. After an overnight stop in Bavaria, we will head to Dachau and study the model camp that set the tone for the KZ system, before heading back to Prague late in the day. The actual study part of our visit to the camp(s) will, as usual, take in more than a typical guided visit.
Please note the following:
(I) COSTS - The study trips we operate are non-profit. Costs involved for visitors cover the travel expenses, nothing more.
(II) RESERVATIONS - Please express interest as early as possible. Numbers will, as ever, be very limited and the earlier we have a settled group, the earlier flights and hotels can be arranged.
(III) DATES - We leave Prague Tuesday 5th May, with an overnight stop in Bavaria after our afternoon visit to Floßenbürg. The next day, we head to Dachau before returning to Prague late in the evening (Weds 6th May)
First few group members have already booked flights and our hotel is also reserved, so if anybody is seriously interested in coming along this time, please let me know ASAP.
