I do not own one of these cars but they seem pretty nice for the price. I was thinking about getting one for general purpose around my farm. There is a guy in the Czech republic who make a near perfect, nut and bolt knock off of the Kubelwagon but it is pricey.

Thanks for the reply do they make them to order ? Being in the uk I have to think about inport tax and shipping fees but still cheaper than the Czech body's

Nick, isn't there a company in Germany which reproduces the 166 as well? The last I remember they were selling for 60.000 eu


To answer Robert's question, I have never talked with the manufacture but they seem to do custom work but related to the type 82 wagon only.
