Last Ww2 homosexual deportation survivor dies

    http://www.thelocal.de/national/20110804-36755.html

This man was fortunate enough to become old unlike many others. I would not be surprised if even after the war he had quite a rough time, just for being born homosexual. I always wondered what had happened to the homosexual concentration camp survivors, because the acceptance of homosexuality was not great after the war (even today some people just can't accept them for who they are!).

Toward the end of 1943, many homosexuals were released from the concentration camps and drafted into the German army . some records indicate that 85 percent of all homosexual camp inmates were reprieved and released" .
