Denmark occupied again by the Germans. The Danes experienced the other day the drama of 9 April 1940.
impressive but scary.

Very cool! I wish reenactors like me on the other side of the pond could have areas like that to use! What was the event?

It was the the City Council who started it.
so we do not forget our history.

Yeah I was there, it was awesome.

German troops marched the streets and a Junker JU52 was flying low over the city ....

This will be a annual event, i hope next year it will be bigger

Oh ...FYI, Denmark became occupied by german troops on 9. of April 1940 and liberated 5. of may 1945, this was the reason for this event ...

At that time it took 5 years from occoupation to liberation, this time it took 2 days

Nice pictures, great to hear it will be an annual event. When is that JU52 coming over to an English airshow, I would just love to see that !

It is great to hear that the town wishes to preserve its history! Events like these in Europe in my opinion really open an eye to the public about their past!

I was one of the "Germans" and this was a great event! (Both Swedes and Danes act Germans.)
