        Don,

I've learned a few things on WAF over the years and one is that Moderators are always right. So here and now I'll conceed this debate to you. I was and am all wrong about it. I know, it's a let down but you could always engage the other members who have posted in support of the theory.

I could post away. I know where to find substancial information that you are challenging me to produce. So far as the Agent being vetted was it? I believe the author of the book that the news paper article is based on already did this leg work. I need not bother and with the rest of it I know better then to bother.
Last time I engaged in this sort of debate I was banned from the social forum with a Ersatz reason being used in place of the real reason. I know you will also call that a conspiracy too but unless you care to prove me wrong I'll keep going with that.

Short of Bill, Adrian and Seba peronally writing me to tell me I am free and clear to take part in this debate you seek with premission to post anything needed in relation to the topic, this will be my last post here. But I'll keep reading with interest if anyone wants continue.

Too bad William. You are certainly free to post your supporting evidence but would rather withdrawal from the conversation/debate. Seems to happen a lot to conspiracy theorists when they are challenged and asked to show what they have.... Yet another conspiracy of the hidden hand keeping you from exposing this conspiracy by presenting irrefutable proof. Pretty convenient imo.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o>

Oh Don, I have to correct you on this matter. I heard that the NSA just recruited a bunch of High School girls who are well versed in the "pig latin" language arts that you are referring to. And there are pig translation websites too... ex. http://users.snowcrest.net/donnelly/piglatin.html

Time to hown in those language skills... try "Gibberish", it is the up and coming language. However, this language too maybe vulnerable, as many speak it already without knowing it.

            Jim

PS. You know Don, I do have the need for a good plumber. Know any good plumbers? I have "eight" bathrooms in my house that need cleaning.

I just wasted two hours of my precious life checking on this.
In the end thats all I needed.
What a load of codswallop. Robert Wilcox is an idiot imo.
Waste 20bucks on his stupid book if you want, what a clown.
"Tried to kill him with a horse and cart" "Tried to kill him with 5 Polish Spitfires, while he was flying a Tiger Cub the one shooting crashed, killing the pilot". "After the accident some dude wacks him with a bolt, breaking his neck". In the hospital the Russians finish him off with a poison the nonesense goes on......

Here,s a link to this General with an explanation of the accident, written by sane people.

Eric, thanks for posting that. I have known Denny Hair and Carlos Manning for years. Denny was on the Houston Police Department when I was on Galveston PD and we were both members of the Texas Military Historical Society. I get mail from Carlos periodically and he never mentioned this.

Without further confirmation, either through documentation or another person in a position to know, the OSS agents claim can never be conclusively proven.
Since neither are likely to surface, or even exist, it would appear that, if in fact he was the victim of assassination, directed from the highest levels, we sure as hell will never be able to prove it.
It should be able to at least be conclusively proven if this guy was even an OSS agent in the first place though.
It wouldn't seem likely that a guy would take the trouble to write a book without vetting the main subjects credentials.

It is said that there was very little in the way of forensic examination of the circumstances of this crash, that right there, if true, would seem a bit shady to me, involving a high ranking officer in the immediate aftermath of an insanely bloody war.
One would think forensic experts would have swarmed the scene, examining every possible aspect in minute detail, to ensure there was no foul play ,,, Unless they were told "Move along ,, Nothing to see here .. It was an accident, and that is that !".

In any case, I'd like to read the book, to see what angles are covered, and how well researched/documented it is.

Not trying to insult anyone's intelligence here but I simply do not subscribe to many conspiracy theories. I have looked into several with an open mind, no pre-conceived ideas going in and I feel that
                      (A) JFK was shot by a lone gunman, a crazy man named Lee Harvey Oswald.
                      (B) That some terrorists flew two planes into the World Trade center towers and caused them to collapse.
                      (C) That the LAPD, the LA County Medical Examiner's office, and all 40 or 50 people involved in the Nicole Brown Simpson murder case did not conspire to frame O.J. Simpson.
                      (D) That Area 51 may be a training area for some weird aircraft but is not a landing sight for UFOs
                      (E) That the CIA did not introduce crack cocaine and the AIDS virus to rid the USA of poor people.
                      (F) I seriously doubt that George S. Patton was assassinated but he broke his neck when he fell forward over 5 feet and hit his head on metal because he probably was talking and didn't brace for impact.

So tell me: what is the job of secret services worldwide then?

And just one add to your (A): Please take into account that some people fighting in the pig bay in Kuba were definitely not happy when realizing that they were suddenly left alone and had to fight for their lives and not for changing anything on Kuba.

I answered your question above. Assassinations aren't as popular as they once were.

For me they were NEVER popular.

Nonetheless too many human beings do not learn from (their own) history and so they have to press the repeat-button.

My favourite author is the journalist Peter Scholl-Latour and I really really hope that he will still be blessed to live for some more years and write more enlightening books about the political world in which we are living.

We will never ever see intelligent and long-term thinking and acting journalists like him again!
