Gen. Amedeo Guillet passed away

General Amedeo Guillet passed away today, aged 101. He was one of the legendary leaders of the war, known as "Italian Lawrence of Arabia" and "Devil Commander".



Last year I corresponded with him - just after his 100th birthday, and signed two pics for me. What a great gentleman he was. A great loss.

Rest in Peace General!

I wrote him in April this year. Last month i received two signed pictures of him, too.
Very sad news that he passed away...
