I do American Revolutionary War with the NWTA. I reenact the 17th Regiment of Light Dragoons (British Army). Im from the midwest.

Im thinking about breaking into WWII, and portraying a German Feldgendarme. I have a question about the uniform regs, etc. How are the awards handed out in reenactment groups, ie. IAB, GAB, PAG, EKI/ II. Also I was awarded the German (Bundeswehr) Army schutzenschnur, If I was reenacting would I be allowed to wear the WWII equivalent?

Before moving to Asia, I reenacted with the Northwest Historical Association, which had members throughout Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. I was with the 11th Panzer Division, Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada, and 6th Fallshirmjager Div.
I'll move back to Oregon in a couple of months, and hope to get back into reenacting.

Hi, all. I am a "newbie" and am looking forward to learning allot here. I am already addicted to this site. There is so much knowledge here it is truely mind boggling!

I do "Living History" as a warrior from the MACVSOG program during the Vietnam War. Since SOG didn't have any real unit designations other than: CCN, CCC, and CCS, I represent all to a certain extant. I belong to the Marlboro Volunteers here in Ohio. www.marlborovolunteersinc.com

                  2. Fallschirmjager Division - HRS

We are in the upper midwest (MN, WI, IA, IL).

I've been re-enacting for 24 years, first with the LAH - HRS (Hey, Jack M.!) and for the past four or so years the 2.FJD.

Also do WWII Soviet as either 62nd Army or Baltic Fleet Marine.
