The name in the middle has particular significance to me.
Gunner John Wilson Cawte aged 19, 14418414 13th Regiment (Honourable Artillery Company) Royal Horse Artillery was killed on 26th June in St Manvieu Norrey while taking part in the ill fated 'Operation Epsom'. The Sexton he was in took a direct hit. He and three others were killed, their names are all here together on the Memorial.
He was a cousin of my father, my 2nd cousin.
