Browsing through the network at work and I came across these photos. They were taken when a film crew was in Castletown, Isle of Man, shooting the tv series Island At War. The series was set on a ficticious Channel island of St. Gregory. I saw a couple of episodes but never realised the location (I wasn't working here at the time, so thats probably why I didn't know).
This first picture shows the german Headquaters, its really a small hotel & bar called the George. The building to the left is a bank, it has its wondows boarded up and has an air raid shelter sign by its entrance. The buidling I work in is left of the bank, just of of this picture.
