ok trip to Russia 2007 who's in?

Could we arrange to possibly go in August so I can go and not have to miss school? I don't know if my parents would allow it, but I can see if I can meet up with you in Dublin (or wherever you're flying to Russia from) and we could go together to Russia. I'm 16, so my parents would have to agree to allow me to do this my myself.

I was talking to Eugene ca. 14 days ago regarding a trip to Russia.
I havent desided what time of the year I'm going to take the trip, but If we could travel together then that woul be even better.

I would prefer to go in april/may, but september works fine for me.

Have anyone been there before? Done some digging there? Maybe have some pictures?

sorry for not getting back but well im pretty easy!i wouldnt mind going in august if it meant we could a few of the younger members to join us! and k98 iv no problem in you meeting up with me in dublin give me a pm and im sure we can arrange something!!!! the more the merryier!!now remember you do have to apply for a visa but iv been told be a few people its not to hard!!and digging would be cool!!!i think if we could arrange the month by say the end of january at the latest and whoes going that would realy help eugene!!!so far we have 3 but i reckon we should pick up a few moe more in the coming days!!!

I don't want to change any of your plans on the basis of me basically just wanting to go. I mean I just informed my dad of the plan, but I mean, my parents are strict about letting me go out with my friends let alone by myself to a foreign country when I'm almost 17. I have made progress as I met a friend from WAF when I went to Germany last month, but by myself is stretching it.

Also, I don't know where I'm coming up with the money, but I can work some stuff out with the members going if I have to. If you want to get the date set by January then that could be perfect timing or horrible timing. It's right after finals, so if I pass them all nicely my parents will say yes easier, if not then maybe not.

We will see how it goes. I should be done with finals by next week Wednesday, so we'll see how things go.

Thanks for the help and understanding and I would love to join you as I will major in history in college for sure.

April would also be great for me! nice and early in the year, before uni starts and i could do it for my 19th. (april 16th) As you can probably tell, im pretty easy when it comes to a date My plan was to go allmost exclusively for digging. what do you guys reckon. anybody want to meet me in Perth Australia to fly over??? Hahahahaha

i went digging in febuary near kiev and it was below freezing.digging was a hard slog as the ground was hard.
