    Lancaster cockpit

Hi Guys, you know how you are looking for something else and find something interesting? I stumbled across this website this moring:

    http://website.lineone.net/~norman.groom/index.htm

This chap has built a complete replica Lancaster bomber cockpit in order to house all his original wireless gear. Make sure you check all the links on the site. A very impressive bit of work. Looks like nearly all the instruments are original.

    Cheers, Ade.

You are not the only one Jason A great deal of work, our group have considered it too. Actually a Waco might be better prospect, as the steel frame might be easier to fabricate?

Have you seen the replica Horsa built at RAF Shawbury?

      Cheers, Ade.
