    Renaissance wax feedback

    Hi,

I've seen in several places that Renaissance was was a good option regarding preserving metal again humidity effect and protecting old metal pieces (with the advantage not being greasy and bright).
But after some few years, I would like to know if some of you have observed some collateral effect ? (unable to get rid of if you want to, marks, taint, aso).

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

    Bets regards

I have used it for many years with none of the problems you mention.

I have used it for a few years and all I can say is excellent results and the stuff lasts for a long time as well

Reading the thread I wondered about the wording `it lasts for a long time´. Is it necessary to reapply the wax on items in a showcase that have already got the coating? I believe it is applied once and then, if kept in a safe environment that´s it...

Excellent stuff and I reapply about every 6 months or so.

Thanks Erich for your input- well I´ve applied it about 3 years ago and luckily haven´t seen any negative development since then- how comes that the coating gets off?
