    Displaying firearm ammo/casing/bullet

    Hello fellow collectors.

Thanks to a member of this forum i i decided to make a new thread about this subject. The problem is following:

I have a LOT of deact ammo, bullets, casings but the problem is i do not have any idead how to display them. In what should they be displayed, how to attach them, how to mark and catalogue so i do not take the wrong item to show someone a little closer Any ideas are welcome!

Hi jrgen 20.The easiest way to mount ammo is use a corrugated 5/16th in. poly plastic board. Use a fine grade of tiger wire (poly plastic wire used in the jewelry trade). Lay the cartridge on the poly plastic board. Use a needle awl and put a hole on either side of the cartridge close in and underneath the cartridge. Cut a piece of tiger wire long enough to pass through the poly corrugated board. Loop the tiger wire over the cartridge in the back twist the two wire ends together on the back side of the board. This system is completely archival. I would not use any glue of resin. Paul
