I started collecting back in the mid 1970s, and now have come to the end off my collecting, except for a few items just to finish off a few of my mannequin displays. I decided to do a major pack up and put the collection into storage, I had all off my collectables up on display in my modern home (Top floor I added to my Parents home back in 2003), that I had up on display since 2007, but at the end it didn't work out, due to the modern interior of my home, plus I was finding out, not all Ladies like Militeria
, as my bachelor pad was a fully display War room! Anyway I need to do a inventory off all my collectables plus also take new images, plus giving all my collection a good clean from dust, dog hair etc.
Just to note all off my MP40s, and MP44, and one of my MG34 are replica's, there are a couple of post War helmet, the camo helmet cover is a post War made out of original material. My MG34 is a parts built original, with a solid metal receiver, and a solid barrel, it was brought into Australia for the film industry, also the AA tripod is all original except for the (just) centre shaft as that was a newly made part.
Also if anyone knows off a Lafette tripod (original or mix parts build) for sale?
