    Any ammo collectors here?

    My first post here.

    I bought my son a '39 Luger for graduation a couple years ago, and made a stand for it. I would like to find a few, or up to 8 rounds of German made 9mm ammo, or even some empty 1939 cases that could be reloaded for the stand.

    I don't care about headstamps as long as it's German and '39.

    If you had a few rounds that were excess to your collections or knew where I could find some, I'd sure appreciate hearing from you.

    Welcome to the Forum. German WWII 9mm is available but not easy. Most of what I have seen is late war with steel cases and sintered bullets. Good luck with your search for 1939 stuff. Check out your local gun shows and class III dealers.

      Thanks, and yes, it is hard to come by. I've been looking for over a year, but I'll keep plugging along.

        I will have a look. I have a lot of 9mm in boxes but doubt I have any that early.
