Hello again,

Here is my breast eagle for an Officer. The vet who had it stated it came off a black tunic. In my eyes this came from a "wrapper" style tunic. This is a very good quality example, the detail is just superb.

I bought this not long ago at a car show of all places......$24.75 - gave him all that I had left. The leather tab is marked RANSFELD & CO. in a circled 1936, I can't make out the town where this came from.

Hello all,

I got this from my friend's Grandfather (who was the one from Aurora, IL) anyhow, this is rather small and is of excellent quality. Off the top of my head it is 18" wide. I will measure the thing later. Also, on the back it is stamped "Bonn"

Don't worry about the budget, because when you graduate your collection will really take off. And not only that, you will be much better off than most of us here, because you will have had time to learn a lot here. Fewer mistakes!

Thank you all for the thoughts. I think I am going to sell some of my higher-end items and stick to collecting the basics. I am more interested in the items then their worth, and school has to be paid for this semester. Check the e-stands!
