Call from highly decorated LSSAH vet yesterday
Yesterday morning I got a call from one of the most highly decorated Unterführer of the Leibstandarte.
He had received my book on Theo Wisch, thanked me for it and told me that he like it a lot.
Great pictures, he said, though the English proved to be a little difficult.
He's helping me now where he can with the new book on Sepp Dietrich and again, I can not stress it enough how thankful I am for all the help I have received so far from the few remaining vets who are all above their 90ies now!
Well, just thought I'd share...
Have a nice day everyone.

Kev
All these conversations through all these years have been neatly taken care of by me and are my most worshipped treasures of untold LAH stories.
Most of which will probably never be published since they do not fit into a normal book format. Tales of suicides, executions, addictions, jealousy, etc. pp.

I like it , and recommend to every collector, this book really fills a need.
I'm glad you like it and since it was so much fun I'm working on a new book, much bigger, about Sepp Dietrich.
So far I have had tremendous help from veterans, historians and collectors alike ensuring a stunning result. I'm already sure of this, if I may say so.
The book will be packed with many, many, unpublished photos of Sepp's personal archive from the Dietrich family (now in my collection), pieces of personal Sepp-militaria, unknown facts (with so much already published on Dietrich!) and veteran accounts directly from the Divisional Staff and comrades who have accompanied "den Sepp" at the front and post-war.
I'm still working on putting it all together, time permitting, and adding new material as it becomes available.
It's a beautiful project and I'm mostly enjoying the process of the pieces falling in place and becoming something "meaningful" and "bigger".
