Foreign Awards given to Leibstandarte personnel
Another fresh addition to my "foreign awards given to Leibstandarte personnel" collection just picked up in Germany some weeks ago:
Order of the Star of Romania (second type)
for Officers
with
Swords and Rosette
As worn by "LAH" Oakleaves winner Fritz Witt, later SS-Brigadeführer and Kommandeur of the 12. SS-Panzer Division "Hitlerjugend"Attached Files

One of the other recent pick ups.
A program book given to selected persons, for the visit of Italy's Duce, Benito Mussolini who visited Munich on September 25, 1937.
Of course the SS Standarte "Adolf Hitler" and Wisch's 1. Kompanie were on parade there as well.
The book was skillfully manufactured in very high quality morrocan leather and comes complete in its protective cover.Attached Files

Thanks for your kind comments everyone.
I still got some very nice additional photos from the Dietrich
family and a small but rare Golden Close Combat Clasp group
from a soldier belonging to the A.A./LSSAH.
CCCiGold groups are really difficult to get from the LAH, since
when you check with the recipients' families most men never
got any formal award documents or any other docs reflecting the
award.
Cheers!
