Book:- "A History of 1.Kompanie Liebstandarte SS A.H."

        Hi Markus,

Since you are into Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler, it would be best if you check out the hardcover book by the 1.Kompanie LAH Veteran's Association,

Ive just bought it a couple of days ago, and it's a seriously engrossing book! It basically details the LAH from pre war , the war years and up to the present. Im still reading it & i hope all of you guys will check it out.

Indeed I did, another forum member had the other two award docs that he bought from Bill.
Winkler slaughtered the group way back when.

                Wisch Documents

                Hello,

I know, that Kai Winkler buyed the whole Wisch group a couple of years ago straight from the family. The group includes the KC documents (KC, Oakleaves and Swords) and an hugh amount of other documents.

You can still found some of the group on his webshop

                https://www.nordheideversand.de/

I saw the group and it was amazing to see all this out of the time. The most impressiv was the hand written war book of the LAH for the battle in Russia.

Possibly there is something for you in his shop.

                Kind regards from Germany

                Walter

Markus, you have a assembled a collection of quality pieces, without doubt ! I admire your dedication in not being swayed from your goal, myself I am sure would of wavered ! Your letter from Peiper is an incredible piece in its own right, I am sure that you do not need me to tell you how rare Peiper signatures are, so I am pleased that you were able to share it on the forum. Great collection

                  Regards Richard.

                      Thanks

Many thanks for all your positive comments. It really cost will-power !

I may show some more detailled photos from the group in the next coming weeks.

Now I have to switch of the laptop and hurry to the airport to catch my L(A)H flight Mexico City-Hamburg. I might pay Teddy's grave a visit next week as always when I am there.

                        Awesome!

Great collection and a wonderful focus on your behalf.

It is quite a coincidence that I just found this thread. I have been looking at the DK doc for Herr Wisch on Kai's site this past week and am considering buying it. Although now that I have seen this thread with your amazing collection and dedication to putting this group together, I might feel guilty if I buy it. I might feel unworthy and like I'm taking something of yours Marcus.
