    Painted A-2 jacket - "Ramp rat" B-24

The best piece of my USAAF collection (some photos later..)

This grouping came from the S/Sgt Jean E Wells, nose gunner on the B-24 "Ramp rat".
He was in the 450th bomb group from 15th air force.
He completed 35 missions from between August and December 1944.
His awards include the american theater ribbon, EAM with one bronze star and one silver star, good conduct medal, air medal with three OLCs and one overseas bar.

    Any comments will be apprecied

        Greetings,

I concur , a very nice example. I am always on the hunt for A2s with nose art for my collection. I missed this one on E-Bay, figures. Just out of curiosity, can I ask out much it sold for, I already have a feeling that it was a great deal

        Best,
        Joe
