It is a solid bronze signed Reichswehr eagle 16 inches high on a marble base. The top of the columm is nicely engraved with the first two winners on specific dates. My guess is that the original intent was to fill the columm with the winners of evrey year but because the Reichswher eagle was a symbol of the Weimar Republic and the surrender of WW1, it was dropped and probably replaced with a new design that included a nazi eagle. The back is signed on the left "ROLAND" and "JARIS" (?) on the right. Any info would be appreciated. The patina on the columm is shiny from all the handling at the show
