German Bronze Medal for Merit with swords.
This is the edition that came after the reorganization of the Adler-awards in 1943 (30 in the ring).

He survived WWII and was apparently handed 25-year vetaran-award Medal of Merit in 1970, and then updated with a new installation of the medalbar.

Our Finnish neighbors must surely be one of the outermost few countries that still permit to carry German medals from WWII (with swastika)?
