          Eddie,
If you have pics of your SA would love to see them.
The pics you just posted of the Chained SS are some of the best I've seen. Are you using lighting or is that natural light?
The SS itself is also one of the nicest I've seen, if not THE nicest. That's a $15k dagger.

Those last pictures wore taking buy previous owner of dagger my friend JR,he is super good with camera and his dagger photos as well as many other are just sweet and entertaining.

dont know how he takes them but i think he uses natural light mostly.

I took same pictures of SA for you,not nearly as good as JR's,i use cheap camera and not all pictures comes out good, some pictures i posted here i wish i wouldn't as i could do better sometime

I use natural light only, sometime they look good, sometime just ok,i need a better camera but i keep spending all on collection.

PS i dont think this dagger worth as much you wore saying you can find a good one with nickel fittings and type 2 chain for about $8500 from dealer and even cheaper from collector

Very nice. Great grip color on that SA.
You're probably right; $15k is high, sometimes I get excited & ahead of my brain...(so says my wife) But imo $8500 is low? Low imo for one in the condition of yours so obviously you got a great deal from JR. He's got some incredible daggers from the pictures I've seen... Been shopping for a chained SS & I haven't seen ANY at $8500 that are as nice as the one you have there. The amount of darkening still on the II chain & scabbard band is incredible.. Matter of fact - If you you can send me in the direction of one in that condition "I'll take it" ......... seriously......... You're a lucky man!

THANKS for sharing the pics of your PUMA.

HOT today eh? I live on Long Island.

That's really nice of you Eddie, thank you...I received an Early Boker SS last week, hope to take pictures soon. What I'd Love is a Mint chained SS Boker type cross guards.

What is your favorite type of TR militaria? By your collection I'm guessing badges??

                            Today is hotter than yesterday.

Just checked all the SS dagger listings and most is gone but one is still available, check your PM in few minutes.

My favorite type is basically anything that has great design from TR period as i find allot of things are very well made and inspirational.

Awards i guess i like the most since this is only thing that was given to people for being heros or similar, everything else wore given no matter of who person is,i think you understand what i am talking about.

I hate this heat and humid so bad for collection and makes me allot less productive

last two weeks wore just perfect for me,i call it balanced weather, not to hot not to cold just right,i wish it always like it was just few days ago.

My gues you are dagger guy,i love german daggers !!! and i wish i can ad more nice pieces to my collection soon

congrats on the Boker ! you should start a thread here and share your collection,i love looking at other people collections allot !
