                  Hi,

Thanks to you all my collection is now better due to the weeding out of the bad gear.
The SS Tunic is the prize of my collection anybody who wants to see it check out the post on it,the tiger i built myself 1 of those Tamiya kits even though my building skills are not bad ,my painting skills are not so good it could do with visiting someone who is.
As to the picture in the armband disply it's a HJ sking citation will post picture as i have not done before.

Very nice varied collection Merdock. A varied approach to display cabinets also I see Is that an aluminium lockable one I see there? Where would one acquire such things?

Sorry if I seem more interested in the cabinets than the goodies at the moment folks but I'm currently trying to get some of my stuff up on the wall and am looking for ideas.

                    Cheers
                    David.
At Rathau on the Aller, the CO of 5th Royal Tanks advanced on foot to take a cautious look into the town before his tanks moved in. He encountered one of his own officers, a huge Welshman named John Gwilliam who later captained his country's rugby team, 'carrying a small German soldier by the scruff of his neck, not unlike a cat with a mouse.' The Colonel said: 'Why not shoot him?' Gwilliam replied in his mighty Welsh voice: 'Oh no, sir. Much too small.'

The DKiG display, are named medals with an original owner picture or just an excellent casual display? Can you post a close up.

                      Wonderfull collection you have.

                        Hi,

The varid cabinet approach is due to them coming free thats unfortinatly why they are all different.

                        Angel,
The DKi group is a original group from the recipients wife lock, stock and barrell,if you do a search you will find a post of the group

I suspected as much and after having spent the last hour sniffing around the web looking for sexy aluminium cases I have decided against them. They aren't cheap!

                          Cheers

Hi,Dave it depends on the meaning of cheep? the room that the collection is in was purpose built from scatch as i made my extention bigger to accomadate it?
so a few cases is no big out lay.
or was the collection the main reason that it was built

                              Hi,

here's the citation that Rob asked about, this is what it's been translated to{by a German]
Meeting of Hitler Youth on 10-2-1935 ,the group members 4/1/131 have concluded that HJ member MAIER THEO is the winner of the voting for camp leader signed by sport leader?
                              doe's anybody recognise the signiture.
                              Not the most interesting citation?
