35th Panzer Regiment Old Style Tunic

    Hi All -

Just picked this one up to go with a set of piped pants once I get another mannequin. The 35th was part of the 4th Panzer Division and fought throughout the war on both fronts. Salty old dog with some mothing and a few repairs, but I have always had a thing for the old style tunics (I am ususally a French cuff snob), and you just don't see the Panzer sets popping up too often. The sleeves appear to have been lengthened - there's a discussion on that in the Uniforms section right now. Enjoy!

Very nice. I like the old style too. Have an Infantry and Cavalry now, with a recruiting officer somewhere in transit. I've been looking for a nice panzer, but the ones I run across are always screwed with. Glad SOMEBODY got one.

Thanks, Dave. The only defect besides the mothing is that the eagle has been replaced, but it's a well-done job.

Don - nice looking outfit. I have one old style tunic for an infantry EM. I'd love to have one for a panzer NCO but the ones I find are always Infantry.

Can you post a pic of the boards and tabs?

Nice example. The pink and the tress still have a very sharp appearance.

Thanks, Paul - I think that's why I love the Waffenrocks, Old-Style and piped tunics - when you get a nice, bright contrasting Waffenfarbe like Cav, Arty, Panzer, or even Infantry if it's crisp, it really makes the entire tunic stand out and look sharp.
