    Panzer!

I just got this in today -- a Panzer Leutnant's Waffenrock for Panzer Regiment 11, formed in Paderborn. The tailor tag is a Paderborn company.

I have dressed it up with the officer's original aguillette and brocade belt along with the EK1, medal bar, and DRL Gold sports badge. However, a Silver PAB is on its way and will replace the DRL. I am also looking for a mint medal bar with EK2 and at least one other medal. Regiment 11 was in Russia of course and so an Ost medal on the bar would be perfect.

I do love this hobby -- and the friends who help me find this stuff. It never made it to the internet.

            ...

            Thanks, Gentlemen.

I will run some more photos of the tailoring details on this one when I get some time. What is so much fun and interesting about collecting Waffenrocks is to see the small touches that are different from tailor to tailor.

That's one of the cleanest rocks I've seen in a while. It doesn't get much better than that.
