    Small Bedside Display

    Hi guys.
    Im a young colllector and i dont have too much yet in my collection, but i have this little display in a old class cabinet my granny gave me. Its beside my bed and it always puts a smile on my face when i see it. Hope you enjoy.

          Thanks guys for your kind words.
          And yes there is not so much in ireland. We were neutral during the war, so not so many vets and vet bring backs as you would find in england and america.

                          Hi,
                          Ireland was not exactly neural a friends uncle was a u-boat captain use to call in Dublin i think with his crew for a few beers at the end of the war the captain ask if they wanted to return to Germany into captivity or stay in Ireland, they sunk the boat and stayed.
                          Anyway nice collection and keep it up.

                            when the graf spree docked in cork harbour just before the war,the crew and captain was brough on buses by the army for a tour guide of dublin and the wicklow gap. there are stories of kriegsmarine men picnicing with irish police in the wicklow mountains. i would love to find photos of such events.

                              That MG is every boy who has ever played soldier dream, I would have killed for that MG when I was younger playing battle of the bulge in the woods out back of my house.
