    RKT Kreuzberg display

After many months of delays and putting it off, I finally got around to making this display.

It depicts Feldwebel Anton Kreuzberg (Pz Jäg Abt 525) who won the RK on 21.9.1944 in Italy.

This is the actual RK that Kreuzberg won and the photograph is an enlargement from his soldbuch.

The other medals/badges are not from Kreuzberg and are included only to show the other decorations he was awarded, as shown on his photograph.

I find it very difficult to photograph anything behind glass due to reflections and glare so it doesn't show how each item is recessed into the outer layer and attached to a second layer behind that.

I wouldn't go for that approach again as it was too difficult to get right.

I hope you like it, it will go up with several other displays that I have shown previously.

      Hi Rich,

Thats a great display. I simply love full groupings to a particular soldier, even if some of the awards are added to show what other awards the soldier had.

I voted on this a while back, no? I see you went with something totally different, and nice job at that!

I particularly like the table cloth

It would nicely with Rick's pink curtains

Actually, it's my ironing board... not that it gets used much...

Thanks all, I like it and will mount it on the wall when ever I can find those damned mounted screws that came with it
